Barry Smith Senior Pastor
Barry is Impacts founding pastor and has been in full time ministry for 15 years. He's an evangelist at heart and loves seeing lives altered for eternity. He and his wife of 13 years, Tammy, have two great kids and live in Sacramento. Barry hates lima beans and peas but loves 80's dance music!. He also enjoys listening to Gwen Stefani, C & C Music Factory, Fergie and Tommy James. One of his favorite pastimes is to kick it on the water with friends and a boat. A couple of things you may not know about Barry is that he once won a VW Bug at a Youth Conference and gets, on average, seven hours of sleep a night.
Scott Eaton Executive Pastor
Scott is our newest addition to the Impact team! He's been involved in church leadership for 8 years and this is his first church where he is serving on full-time staff. He's been married 17.5 years to Lisa and they have two children together. He's a christian music nut with everything from Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman to Kirk Franklin and David Crowder. Although he does from time to time pull out Simply Red. He loves visiting the Sequoia National Park and also enjoys camping and hiking. Scott has the auspicious recognition of filling a gym with too much smoke during a basketball team introduction which caused many of the players to slip on the slick left by the smoke! Scott hates asparagus, loves the movie Apollo 13 and uses a Pentel Rolling Medium Writer pen.
Ernie Cabrera Associate Pastor
Ernie has been in ministry for 18 years and has a huge heart for God. He has been married to his wife Daisy for 22 years and together they have two children. He and his family were, with Barry, part of the founding core of Impact. You may not know it but Ernie can cut his own hair and loves anchovies on his pizza! Also, in his day he was a pretty killer break dancer. He loves summer, enjoys golfing, video games and sleep! Ernie loves visiting San Francisco, driving his used BMW and has an uncanny, and potentially unhealthy, attachment to the green Impact pens!
Shawn Struckmeier Pastor of Worship
Shawn has been around ministry his entire life. He's been in fulltime ministry for the past 8 years and serving at Impact for the past 2. Shawn has been married to Darcy for 13 years and have three kids to show for it. A perfect day for Shawn would be spending it out on the river fishing with his son. Some of his hobbies include reading, graphic design, editing video and letting his kids beat him at Game Cube. He once had a full on mullet but has now adjusted to a more traditional faux hawk! He loves Def Leppard, Linkin Park, Matt Kearney, Chris Thile and used to be addicted to REM. He also tells really great duck stories and drives a killer '86 Volvo 240DL.
Josh Christian Student Ministries Pastor
Josh has been serving in fulltime ministry for the past 9 years. He's been married to Ashley for almost 6 years, has two boys and a baby on the way. Josh loves music and he'll tell you he loves all these really cool bands like Hillsong United, Pearl Jam, The Cure and Dave Matthews, but he really has an extreme attachment to country music. He's a certified Scuba diver, loves going 4 wheeling, and absolutely hates onions. His top highschool achievement was graduating. He drives an ultra cool '99 Toyota Camry, loves autumn and gets 6 hours of sleep a night.
Tammy Smith Women's & Children's Dir.
Tammy has been the children's director at Impact for 8 years and has been in volunteer ministry for 15. She is married to Barry and is going to celebrate 14 years of marriage in January. She has two incredible kids and is a big
time soccer mom! Her favorite movie of all time is The Notebook and she enjoys listening to any type of Christian music. Tammy talks faster than anyone you will ever meet and can rarely say any type of slang phrase correctly. She decorates her home for every season, uses baskets for everything, and holds the firm belief that every time you go into Target you should come out with a new accessory.
Darcy Struckmeier Dir. of First Impressions and Events
Darcy has been around ministry since she was seven years old. She has been married to Shawn for 13 years and has three children that are the loves of her life. She loves to travel to Disneyland, or anywhere that has a roller coaster or a beach! Darcy hates hummus, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. She loves all the seasons except Spring. She drives a tricked out minivan, loves hanging out with her friends, and listens to just about any kind of music. Her favorite movies involve dancing and she believes life is about making memories! Darcy always prefers a newly sharpened pencil to any type of pen.
Chris Pitts Office Manager
Chris has been in ministry for many years but has served as fulltime staff for the past 6 years. She has been married to her husband Greg for 36 years! She loves listening to southern gospel music and thoroughly enjoys sewing, gardening and cooking. Her pen of choice is the nearest one to her. In high school she was the head Drum Majorette and had the dangerous job of twirling fire batons!! She loves driving her Grand Marquette and watching the movie "Gone With The Wind", not at the same time though. She also loves visiting the mountains and her favorite season of the year is Spring.
Dawn McBride Connections MInistry Dir.
Dawn has been serving in ministry for 6 years. She has been married to Mike for 14 years and together they have three amazing kids. She drives a white minivan but whenever she gets the chance she pulls her motorcycle out for a trip. She has this wierd thing with food...she won't eat fuzzy fruit! So I guess peaches are out. Something odd you may not know about her is that she has absolutely no sense of smell at all. She enjoys reading, writing, photography and hanging out with friends. She also loves visiting the woods and at all times uses a fine ball point pen for writing.
